The Soul Is Healed EP is a must-listen for fans of Dub techno and those looking for an introspective, yet uplifting listening experience. Volpe has masterfully crafted an EP that showcases their technical progress and ability to evoke emotion through sound.

Gorgeous chords—drenched in reverb and echoing around—shimmer like sunlight reflecting off water, while syncopated yet pulsating percussion and the low-end sound are particularly impressive when fully immersed in a massive sound system. At the same time, Volpe is also able to make melodic elements memorable enough to stick in your head like a hook and while simultaneously developing a sense of song structure. Each of the tracks were recorded in live jams as one take, perhaps to suggest that we sometimes forget to admire the energy and life teeming all around us without our control or agency.
